All of these cards are skills you can use in game.
Avatar Skill Card:

Apostle Skill Card:

Auto Attack
The Avatar will perform an auto attack when an enemy comes within the auto attack range, indicated by a circle around your avatar. While moving, the avatar will charge the auto attack. However, in order to damage the enemy with an auto attack, your avatar must not be moving.

Basic Control
Use W/A/S/D to control your Avatar movement. Spacebar to dash. Dash cooldown show as yellow bar beside your Avatar.

Mana
Mana is the resource you use to cast skill cards. On the top left of each card, it will show its mana cost. Your avatar automatically regenerates mana (max 15), but it is important to not use all of it at once!
The more apostles you bring, the faster your mana regeneration speed.

Using Skill Cards
Dragging the card upward will activate aiming mode, allowing you to aim your skill. In this mode, you can see the range of the skill you are about to use. After releasing the mouse click, the avatar/apostle will activate the skill.

Hotkeys
We also have a hot key system so you can set keys rather than needing to drag a skill card!

Discarding
Dragging the card downward will discard it, costing 1 mana. You will then get the next card in the deck.

Deck Building
Deck building depends on the birth skills of your planet and the skills you are able to access in the skill tree. It is your duty to find apostles that match your playstyle!
Avatar Skills:

Apostle Skills:

Meta
FC4: Curse of Darkfire
FC4: Summon a fireball that slowly follows enemy avatar and applies ablaze (upgrade 3) to any unit affected. This leaves a fire trail behind (upgrade 1) that deals damage to any enemy in its trails and stuns upon expiry (upgrade 2). A maximum of 2 balls can be use at the same time. If you cast a third, the first will explode.

This can be used to stall enemies so that you can prep your hand. It also does a lot of damage to enemies in its trail and can potentially stun the enemy, allowing you to combo with another card. It is also very easy to use as it automatically follows the enemy avatar.

FC5: Lava Eruption
FC5: Summon 4 pillars (upgrade 2) that shoot 2 lasers (upgrade 3) per pillar to the nearest enemy. If there are multiple enemies in a spot, laser will split to other targets it also inflict ablaze (upgrade 1).

This can be used to damage or zone enemies. An advantage is that this skill has a quick cast time and is very hard to cancel, making it very effective overall.

AC1: Tailwind Dash + AC2: Zipzap Orb
AC1 and AC2 can be used to interrupt enemies:
- AC1 is a dash that knocks up enemies (upgrade 3).

- AC2 summons 3 orb and if enemy gets hit by all 3, they are stunned (upgrade 1).

AC1 is commonly used due to its accessibility, cast time, and cost. AC2 is used due to its high damage and ability to stun.

AC5: Gustwing Unbound
AC5: Up to 7 feathers (upgrade 3) are shot out from your avatar in a cone, dealing damage. After a while, all feathers come back to avatar, dealing damage, healing your avatar (upgrade 3), and stunning enemies.

This can be used to damage enemies, kite away from enemies, and to heal. Often times, this is used to follow up on a cc skill as it outputs a high amount of damage. This skill is very fast and can burst an enemy when used properly.

EC4: Rootvine Seeds
EC4: Shoots multiple seeds out for a short period of time. Enemies that are hit are rooted and if hit at max range, it will also deal damage (upgrade 3) and heal your avatar (upgrade 2).

This can be used to damage enemies, kite away from them, or to heal. It serves as a disruption to enemies as they are unable to get close to you for any skills. In certain situations, you can also combo this with another skill if enemy is stunned.

EC5: Desecrated Ground
EC5: Spawns a circle that deals true damage over time and heals for damage done (upgrade 1). It also stuns enemies (upgrade 2) that stay inside the circle.

This can be used to either damage the enemies or heal when you are low HP. As you make it further into the game, this skill becomes more valuable and often times can win you the game due to its healing features!

WC4: Coldwater Ritual
WC4: Spawns a circle that pulls enemies inside and reduces movement speed. After 6 seconds, it will explode and deal damage to all units inside. It also applies frostbite (upgrade 1) and heals friendly units inside (upgrade 3).

This can be used to zone an enemy, heal, or damage them. This is also a very strong late game skill as it covers all exposed area when the circle gets smaller.

Tips for Getting Rank
While searching for a match, the longer you wait, the wider the range of enemies you will be matched with:
- For the first 30 seconds of matchmaking, every 10 second increases the range of opponents by 1 Tier and 100 MMR (plus/minus).
- For the next 45s of matchmaking, every 15 seconds increases the range of opponents by 1 Tier and 200 MMR (plus/minus).
- This means that the maximum difference will be 6 tiers, and 550 MMR (plus/minus).

Advance
Counter Pick
What is a counter pick?
A counter pick is choosing an apostle with a specific skill that counters one of the enemy avatar’s skills.
Example #1:
Curse of Darkfire (FC4) and Lava Eruption (FC5) are one of the most effective skills. Both can provide huge damage and stacks of Ablaze as well. Both are DoT (Damage over time) skills, so the best way to counter is Prickly Personality, which deflects damage back to enemy avatar.

Example #2:
Gustwing Unbound (AC5) is also a popular skill. There are many Apostles or even Avatar skill cards that can disrupt this skill. For example, Switcheroo or Tailwind Dash (AC1) to allows you to escape. Guardian’s Castle Guard blocks it since it counts as a projectile. Almost invincibility can also be used to reduce damage from returning blades!

Example #3:
Electrostatic Ray (AC4) and Rootvine Seeds (EC4) are not common skills because they are not easy to use on the battlefield. They are also easily cancelable by Tailwind Dash (AC1), Fall up or even Retribution!

Enemy Analysis
Analyzing Your Opponent!
A very important aspect to win a game is knowledge and understanding of your opponent’s deck. This allows you to counter pick if necessary, and play around their weaknesses. These are some tips to help:
- Read skill descriptions and try to understand their advantages and disadvantages.
- Play practice games to understand different skills.
For example:
You are against a Dunes with:
- Curse of Darkfire.
- Gustwing Unbound.
- Zip Zap Orb.
What to be expected here?
- A Dunes is a Fire/Wind Planet so it can move fast and deal tons of damage.
- It lacks Water/Earth so it generally is squishy and unsustainable.
- Both Curse of Darkfire and Zip Zap Orb can CC you.

Apostle Manipulation
What is Apostle Manipulation?
Apostles manipulation is strategic about managing and manage enemy’s Apostle priority depend on your plan to takedown which and let which alive.
It is a great way to manage the risk which taking out the Apostle that may turn the tide of war into the enemy’s hand. If you know about what are you doing is right, just go for it.
Which Apostle do I need to take them down first?
Take note of enemy’s composition and realize which apostles they are playing around. Common ones are:
- Priests.
- Mages.
- Hunters.
Prioritizing Apostles!
Sometimes, letting enemy apostles live can be a disadvantage for your opponent:
- Gustwing Unbound (AC5) gain more advantage when Avatar is standing alone without Apostles because of an Air perk called “Feather Weight” will definitely reduce cost of Avatar’s skill.
- So sometime it is better to leave some Apostle in battlefield to increase the amount of enemy’s skills to be shuffled into enemy’s deck.
Sacrificing Apostles!
Though generally not recommended, sacrificing your apostles can prove advantageous:
- More avatar cards will be shuffled into deck (since apostle is no longer alive).
- This means you are able to continuously use strong avatar cards rather than apostle skill cards.
Tip: Be aware of what your strong and weak skill cards are.
