New Players Guide
General Tips
- The Tool Workbench is specifically for tools only. It is located at the spawn point and near the fences.
- The Decoration Workbench is mostly for decorations.
- The village can be tracked down once you have a quest that requires you to go there (using the quest tracker).
- When collecting materials, you might be unable to collect them because your inventory is full (it’s a different story if you literally can’t collect them).
- If you ever get stuck on the map or get lost since you’re new to the game, just press “Z” and it will teleport you to the spawn point.
- It’s better to explore the whole map so you’ll get to know where you can find the materials, such as blueberries, red flowers, sunflowers, etc.

How to Level Up
Tips for beginners and those who find it difficult to level up:
- If you don’t have the most powerful computer, restart the game sometimes, because it consumes a lot of RAM over time.
- Try to grow vegetables to get more points. Before the event, buy the blueprints directly above the Lemmon’s store next to the Drift store (after purchasing one blueprint, you will most likely see a couple more of the same, but in a different color), sil glasses are also needed to create craftcoin
- Store ore in large quantities and create more “Refind Resourcesec Workbench”, so you will earn more coins for crafting, complete more tasks of the main storyline and eventually increase your level faster.
- Do not spend craftcoin on something that will bring you little experience (if it takes less than 10 minutes to create), but this does not apply to the completion of the storyline, also, if you have already created something before, you will not receive experience for re-creation.
The most effective strategy of the “Royal Farm” that I have found for myself is that your task at the beginning is to make a hoe, watering can, scythe (this is necessary for mowing grass on your farm site and nearby). Your plantation should be no more than 40 cages, otherwise you will not be able to effectively plant and harvest vegetables (immediately after 40 cages you sell a hoe and watering can if everything is watered).
As soon as the potatoes grow up, you sell one piece of the usual and buy about 60 pieces of each vegetable. You should run to the race while other players are growing vegetables, and return to the farm only if you run out of vegetables or other players have also gone to the race.
Tip: You can buy new item blueprints outside of Drift Furniture store and other shops as you unlock them (by playing the main story task line) via bespoke vending machines.
How to Start Farming
First off, please talk to Walter and Ash; they have some onboarding tasks.

Collect resources to create farming tools; you’ll need the hoe and watering can.

Use the vending machine to buy some seeds to plant.

Equip the hoe from your inventory (Tab) and use it (left-click) on the ground.

Then equip the seed you want to plant and right-click on the cultivated land.

Finally, equip the watering can, make sure it’s full, and water your crops.

Now your crops will grow. They all have different growth times, so you may need to re-water them.

They will then bounce and say “Ready to harvest.” You can now harvest the crop (right-click).

You are now on your way to becoming an expert farmer. Unlock better tools and more crops as you play.

How to Get SIL, Craftcoin and SHARDs
You can get SIL by selling any item in your inventory (TAB).

Shards are currently awarded through limited events, such as leaderboards and House Hunters.

CraftCoin can be acquired by playing Farm Royale and completing daily tasks.
- Daily tasks, can yield a total of six Craftcoin per 24 hours.
- Each refined workbench can yield two Craftcoin per 24 hours.
There is not cap on how many refined workbenches you can craft, for example if you choose to craft three refined resource workbenchs you could yield a maximum twelve craftcoin per day including dailies per 24 hours.
As a reminder, Craftcoin is meant to be a hard currency, you can get more if you wish but you really don’t need to rush to the end of this release – you have until the end of January.

FAQ
Will there be any additional language support in the future?
Yes devs plan to localise in several languages as progress with development.
Will we be able to cook with the produce we grow and ingredients we buy?
Cooking is a feature that is planned.
Will there be dancing or emotes in the game?
Action emotes yes, but this won’t come until later in development, to prioritise features like custom character creation.
Will there be small animals in the game?
Yes, there already is some such a; fish, bees, butterfly’s, dragonfly’s and birds but devs plan to add a variety of wildlife from insects to pets to homestead animals.
When is mobile release?
Not for a while yet, devs need to focus on one platform at a time to make sure devs can make Moonfrost as good as possible then port to mobile. It is planned and it will happen just not right away…
Can we fish?
No not for now, devs understand how excited everyone is for that feature but it still needs a lot of work before devs include that in an alpha release, but it is something devs are working on as seen by recent designs shared!
Will there be pets or mounts?
No not yet, they are planned and devs did have pets working in other builds but devs want to make sure pet interaction is more than just following you around. So devs are wanting to really offer a unique experience with pets for Moonfrost. Regarding mounts it’s also something devs are considering including skateboards!
