Omega Royale – Beginners Guide

New Players Guide
General Tips
When you’re new to the game, it’s a learning curve to get good with timing merges to utilize the frenzy bonus the most! Generally, fill up as many towers as you can on the map.
Be mindful with your merges…don’t merge too fast! This is a very common mistake from new players. Use the arcane bolt to snipe the bosses (it has a shorter cooldown than the snipe spell and will out-damage the snipe spell over time). Be careful using your mana right. It might not be worth using mana on hexes, for example. However, sometimes it’s worth buying a hex to save yourself from it so your opponents can’t use it on you if you feel like you would be troubled by that hex.
Once you unlock Battle Call, I would use that instead of Blade Strike or Frostbite. Then you put the Battle Call on the towers you feel like merging and only merge the towers that have the Battle Call buff to maximize the damage (it gives increased crit chance, and combining that with a frenzy merge bonus gives a very high damage output!).
Overall, decks can be map-dependent. There are tons of different strategies. Try a lot of different cards and approaches to learn what combos do better than others. Overall, high DPS decks with Battle Call is a good start for new players. As you unlock more cards, try to find a spell or tower that adds some utility and not only high DPS, such as Windie who has a chance of confusing troops to walk backwards. The Warp spell is also very strong, which guarantees teleportation backwards, or the Confuse spell. Utility cards like these give you time to survive in tricky situations.
Overall, the Merchant is almost a must-have in the deck to survive the long games! But be careful, he only generates passive silver income and deals no damage. But using this card smartly will give you more towers in the long run.
The deck would need a good balance of DPS/utility. Using Merchant, Glacier, Windie, and Grey Mage all together would have a very high risk of losing since you might have too much utility and too low DPS, and you wouldn’t have enough rerolls to get the towers you want.
Gameplay FAQ
Is there any way to have private matches with friends?
Click the hamburger menu in the battle page and click Friendly battle.
How to level up spell Tier1 to Tier2?
Every time you kill a boss, you gain a star. This means your spells increase in tier. You can see this in the game by the number on the star at the bottom left. The spells start at tier 1. When you kill the first boss, they level up to tier 2.
Why can’t I use the cards that I opened upon reaching the 10th League?
You have not unlocked them… you have just made it possible to achieve them from chests now! So now you CAN obtain them if you are lucky. It says “new unlockable cards,” meaning they are available to be unlocked.

What is the maximum number of people than can be in 1 clan?
30 people!
Is there a maximum card level, and if so what is it?
Level 15.
What determines the amount of “trophies” we get for league battles?
Trophies are determined by MMR. The more trophies you have (higher placed on the leaderboard) compared to the others you play against, the fewer trophies you can win and more trophies you can lose. Search up “MMR gaming” and you will understand.
Do points earned from events carry over to new events?
No, the reward points do not carry over to the next event. Make sure to use them all. The event rewards will be open for a while after the events end, so you have time to use them all.
Is the poison from plague doctor stacking?
Yes, when an enemy has poison already and gets hit by poison again, the duration gets reset to 10 seconds and the damage per second will be adjusted so that the total damage is the same as if the 2 poisons were applied separately.
How the shop offers are determined based on the shop levels in the camp?
- The 6 random slots you can buy with gold/free are determined by the level of your Tavern.
- Higher level = higher chance for higher rarity on the offers.
- The random deal offers you can buy with money are completely random, I believe, no matter the level of your tavern.
At what level in the city can I build a building?
You can click the Town Hall and see what level unlocks what building. The Forge is unlocked at Town Hall level 5! You might be able to see the Forge and other buildings to read about them by clicking the bottom right button in your town (I have all buildings built and max level, so it is empty for me in there).
What’s the most efficient way to get gems other than purchasing?
You can build gem mines to get them passively. You need to upgrade the town hall high enough to be able to build them. Gems would be considered the in-game resource you would buy, but you get chances of gaining some here and there from the mines or completing Career quests from the Tavern.
Should I hold off on merging as long as I can on troops or should I try to get their teir up quick?
There are several things to consider:
- When you merge two towers, you gain Frenzy, which is your most important and valuable resource. It provides a significant but temporary damage boost.
- Regarding tower power, as mentioned earlier, a level 2 tower deals exactly the same damage as two level 1 towers.
- But when upgrading to level 2, the tower gains Frenzy. If you level up a tower without any monsters to attack, you miss out on that damage boost.
- It’s up to you to find the right balance between securing the best spots for certain towers (e.g., placing poison towers early in the map) and making the most of Frenzy.
- After level 2, merging towers becomes less beneficial. A level 3 tower deals less damage than two level 2 towers. However, you gain an extra slot, meaning you can potentially place an additional tower.
- As long as things are going well, keep as many towers as possible and only merge them when the waves start becoming too difficult or when a boss is about to arrive—this way, you can maximize Frenzy.
- Towards the end of the game, merge all your towers to avoid wasting Frenzy, which could buy you precious seconds and potentially turn a top 3/4 finish into a first-place victory.
With the %dmg bonus increasing with the card’s level, does it become stronger and stronger compared to the others?
Yes. If you level up the Berserker to level 10, you get 210% damage boost (+5%). I don’t know what the level after that adds. So yeah, he can be good! But risky.
You have to let enemies pass the goal line, and if enemy players are smart, they attack you with hexes to try to kill you.
What is the best way to use Visioncaller?
He summons minions to enemy players every time you merge him. Don’t merge too fast because then you will run short on merges when you need to clear your own path. It’s a good idea to have Merchant (always good to have him in your deck) so you can get more silver, which leads to more towers and more merges.

How to handle Endless? It’s hard!
You will realize you will gradually get better and better the more you play and the more cards you unlock and level up. I recommend trying out different towers and spells so you get a basic understanding of what their potentials are. After that, you can start thinking about different combinations and strategies. This game is very strategic and more advanced than you initially thought!
A typical mistake newbies make is to merge too much. Make sure to utilize the frenzy bonus you get from merging. In general, fill out the map with towers and merge the towers somewhat evenly. But all in all, mess around and figure out finesse and let me know if you need any guidance.
